This one's for the grandparents!

flour + water + Daniel = 1 colossal mess...

...and one very happy little boy!

Maybe it's time I invested in some play-doh.

These grandparents enjoyed the pictures and are glad that it is not up to them to clean it up.

Just watch out with the play-doh--it's way tastier than you'd think. I used to always eat it when I was little. Next thing you know, he's gonna have a third food group: graham crackers, Mom's vegetable stealth muffins, and play-doh.

I was going to say, "I love it, I love it, I love it, but I'm glad I'm not the one to clean it up," but I see Oma beat me to it.

Those are the fun kinds of clean up! I'm loving the pictures. Have you given him green beans to snap? That's always great fun.

I know there are recipes for making play-doh, but I can never get it right. I wound up buying a little 6-pack for a buck at Michaels' after making sure it was non-toxic and NOT made in China. Oddly enough, the first time we played with it, CJ told me, very seriously, "Mommy, don't eat!"
